What this site is
ShinobiHub is a place to publish articles about running Shinobi and to share camera configurations with other people who run it. It is operated by Shinobi Systems. Reading it needs no account; posting does.
Your account
You are responsible for what is done through your account and for keeping its password to yourself. Tell us if you think somebody else has it. We may suspend an account that is being used to attack the site or the people on it.
What you post
You keep ownership of what you write and of the configurations you share. By posting, you grant Shinobi Systems permission to store, display and distribute it on this site, and you confirm you have the right to do so.
An article is reviewed before it appears publicly. We may decline to publish one, or remove one already published, if it is unlawful, is somebody else's work, or exists to advertise rather than to inform.
Configurations carry no credentials
A shared configuration has its username and password removed before it is stored. Do not put credentials anywhere else in one, and do not treat a configuration downloaded here as vetted: it is somebody's working settings, not advice from us. Check what you are pointing at your network.
The API
An API key acts as your account. Keep it secret, and revoke it from your account page if it is exposed. We may rate limit or revoke a key that is overloading the service.
What we do not promise
The site is provided as it is. We do not guarantee it will be available, that an article is accurate, or that a shared configuration will work with your hardware. To the extent the law allows, Shinobi Systems is not liable for loss arising from your use of it.
Changes
These terms may change. The date at the top is when they last did. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
