Uploading to Mounted Network Storage or Another Local Location
Shinobi has an "Uploader" that copies files to a set path. That path can be a Mounted Network Storage or another local location.
Creating a Network Mount with Shinobi (CIFS)
This step is not necessary. You can set a mount any way you want. As long as it exists as a path on the system it can be used for storage.
Using the Mount Manager in the Super user panel you can setup a CIFS mount. By providing specific details you can update the `/etc/fstab` of the Shinobi Server. To get started open the Super user panel and open the Mount Manager tab.

Backup to Mounted Drive Storage or Local Location (Recommended)
Within the Account Settings you may setup the Mounted Drive Storage section to save to the created mount whenever a local video is finished Recording.
Note : You may notice that the "Mount Point" is just a normal path input. If you desire to save to a separate location on the system you can do that as well, it doesn't have to be a Mounted Network Drive. Mount Point can be any path that already exists on the system.

Save Directly to the Mount Point (Not Recommended)
Within the Mount Manager there is a listing of all your Mount Points. Click the button titled "videosDir" (Green button with a Download Icon) to set the primary storage location to use this Mount Point.
It is recommended that you have a stable network connection between Shinobi Server and Mount Point to ensure that the CIFS mount does not disconnect. In the event this occurs Shinobi will be to save directly to the Shinobi server at that provided Path. It is recommended to use the Backup to Mount method.
Additionally you should only change this directory pointer when Shinobi is not actively recording. You can prevent this by turning adding "safeMode": true, in the Configuration of the Shinobi Server and restarting it, this can be done in Controls and Logs tab. Then once the Mount changes are complete you can remove it and restart Shinobi once more.
