Adding a Test Camera Stream to Shinobi

Simulate a camera stream in a few simple steps

This assumes you have already installed Shinobi and have created an account in the Superuser panel.

1. Login to Shinobi

2. Open the Monitor Settings and set the following fields :

  • Connection
    • Input Type : MPEG-4
    • Full URL Path : https://cdn.shinobi.video/videos/bears.mp4
  • Input
    • Loop Stream : Yes
    • Analyze Duration : 1000
    • Probe Size : 32

3. Hit Save and now you should see a visual of a bear in your Live Grid.
